SACHI SELLASAMY is co-founder and Director of INOCREST (Innovation & Creativity Skills Training Ltd.) He has 25 years of working experience, the major part of it being involved in training and consultancy internationally. His training and consultancy work spans small and medium industries, multinationals and governments. In his long career with the public service, he has served in various capacities in 3 Ministries and the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN). Sachi has been associated with a number of international consultancies. They include the Institute on Governance (Canada), The Commonwealth Secretariat (U.K.), ADB, UNDP, and the ASEAN secretariat.
His core competencies are in the area of Creativity and Innovation and Strategic Management & Thinking, with additional competencies in Organization Development, Change Management and Leadership. He is a certified trainer in Dr. Edward deBono’s Six Thinking Hats ® and Lateral Thinking ® Programmes as well as TetraMap ® a simple but immensely accurate and effective behavior profiling system. Sachi is also the author of the book Planning for Excellence: Strategic Management For Public Sector Organizations(INTAN, 2006) and Win The Nobel Prize: The Malaysian Challenge(National Science Centre, Malaysia 2005).
Sachi obtained his B.Ec. (Hons) from University Malaya, M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, United Kingdom and was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and East West Center, U.S.A.
HK LOI has been involved in the facilitation of learning for more than 15 years. His key competencies are in the areas of thinking skills, teambuilding and the use of psychometric instruments for management development.
He was the country representative of Asianic Psychologists Press (Australia) for the training and distribution of Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) in Malaysia and Brunei (2002 - 2007. He was also with DANCED (Danish Cooperation for Environment and Development)–Krau Wildlife Project in Malaysia as its Capacity-Building Consultant (2000- 2001).
He has been a panel trainer for the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), Bank Negara Human Resource Development Centre, IBBM (Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia) and National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN). He has conducted training for both the public and corporate sectors, (both locally and internationally).
